It’s pretty tough, but it is an Honors Class so it’s what you signed up for.

IF YOU ARE IN CHEM H: Do all the HW, it's not a lot. asks questions, go to student hours, and just be chill. It's a relatively easy class, but there's not a lot of bonus. Study before the test!!!

DO THE KEY TERMS!!!!!! They will help you on the tests and will help you review! Unlike other classes, you need to actually remember the information for the AP Test at the end of the year, but don't worry, Dale is REALLY good at reviewing everything. The tests will seem stressful at first, but you will adjust to them and their format. Also, don't stress too much on FRQ's (unlike me), you just need to calm down and not overthink them. Also, just be a good person, participate during notes, etc. It goes a LONG way with memorization. Also, Ms. Dale will help you with this, but most of the notes will be verbally said, so along with filling in the notes, also make sure to write down other things! Also, don't doubt yourself, you got this!!!!

Mr. Grayson has clear expectations for his students. Unlike some teachers I've had, you know where you stand. If you just put effort into the homework or class projects, you should do well. I'm fairly motivated. Students should be able to pass if you just do the work. And he's funny.

Try your best to not get behind in the class, as he moves very fast. Try to make sure you have people that can help you within the class during notes and homework. Do all the homework the day before it is due, so if you get confused you can ask him for help.

The honor is definitely a hard one and the way she grades the essay is very strict and you cannot expect there is a clear 9/9 example or a clear enough syllabus so, try your best and just have fun :) The hardest part is always the reading I would say cuz there are no clue what they are going to quiz you on, just make very detailed note and think thoroughly about, ok what is the smallest thing you would not notice in this chapter (mostly gonna be in the beginning or by the end) and write that f**k thing down. The vocab is kinda what you could google online and quizlet is always up there for you)))

I take back my previous review from her. She is a very low class teacher. She made the class so miserable to the point that you just want to drop out of her class

If you're planning to take AP chemistry, the main thing you have to do is pay attention during the lectures. That'll make everything 100% easier than going through the content alone. Also, make sure to take good notes. Review them about once a day and you should be good.

Do not wait until the last night to do the skill set. And make sure you listen to him before the AP test because if you do what he says you will get a good score on the AP test.

Study, study, study your material. Ms. Max mostly has you do work on your own without going that in depth. Biology CP has a weird grading scale that changed halfway throughout the year (maybe from low-scoring people), to where even a 60 -70 percent was a B.

Do the key terms! It's way more than helpful and literally that's how you can actually review and get points (what are you waiting for! ) Print the packet, copy down everything he said and look at the video class if there is any confusion (or if you would just like to do that bcs you love history so much or whatever). I would say take every opportunity to do the extra credit you might need them by the end of the year but just remember do not try to argue anything about your grade!

Do the homework. on time sometimes she might give extra credit for doing the assignment on time. Don't worry much about the quizzes(that doesn't mean don't study for quizzes! ) try your best. She is really nice teacher and gives a lot of extra credits through the year!! Also she gives a chance to retake the test. At the end of the semester, if you are not satisfied with your grade you can talk to her and she will give you some easy assignments to do and they will boost up your grade. She will also extend the due dates if more than half of the class didn't do the assignment and the people who did that assignment will get extra credit!! So remember to do assignments on time. Overall it is very easy to get an A in Mrs. Waldinger's Class.. You don't need to work that hard to pass in this class and not a lot of homework P. S I had her as my English 9CP teacher.

CHECK THE SLIDESHOW BEFORE GOING TO CLASS It will keep you updated and will allow you to do better, along with allowing you to bring the necessary items you need to every day. If you don't check the slideshow, then bring a folder for papers, your spiral, writing device, and your Chromebook (Ideal so you can follow along with the slides on your own screen, but you NEED them on test day because Chromebook loans go out quickly). Also come to class ready and have an open mindset. Sometimes things feel just like filler work, but it does help you out in the long run. When it comes to books make sure you know the books inside and out pretty well, as there are quizzes for each book that you read after every few chapters or so. These quizzes don't go into analysis of the book, but they talk about tiny details sometimes, so make sure to not just use SparkNotes. When it comes to analysis, though, make sure to think about it more and more as you get further into a book, because you will need it for essays.

Just pay attention during class, don't be boring, and you'll have a good time in class. I know that, for some, History may be boring, but Ms. Wooldridge is a fun teacher that makes things fun and engaging. I would highly recommend taking as many classes as you can with Ms. Wooldridge, she is easily one of the best teachers at Westlake High School.
