Mr. Chou doesn't do a great job of teaching these class to prospective comp sci students. You'd really have to be self-motivated and already know how to code to gain anything -- even then, I think he'd still be a hindrance to your learning process. Only enroll in this class if you want it for GPA reasons or need an extra class. It's not a "hard class" to get an A in, but he's neither well-equipped nor prepared to be a teacher. He frequently makes typos, sometimes isn't prepared for class, uses tests that we can Google answers for, and refuses to allow us to email him because it clogs his inbox from "district emails. " It's just a bad learning experience, in my opinion. I feel like TCHS students are just polite and very eager to learn; otherwise, this class would go nowhere.
