Practice is key to succeeding in this class, especially for AP Calculus AB. Do the homework, take notes, and ask questions when needed, whether it be during office hours or after school.

Tests count for majority of the grade. Homework is only one point each so don't cheat because it's not worth getting homework points over test points. Pay attention to her class because she tells you everything you need to know for her tests and the AP test. Go to office hours and ask for help. Her explanations are so clear and she teaches so well.

Do homework and pay attention during class. Take note of and ask about hard homework problems. Study tests by doing practice problems using her study guides.

Ms. Pan is an amazing math teacher, she takes the time to ensure that each and every student understands the concepts, and she prepares them really well for the AP exam. The class itself can be a bit stressful, and homework may take longer than other classes, but I felt that it was what allowed me to earn a 5 on the exam. One thing she did that I really appreciated was that she would take the time to clearly write out step-by-step on how to solve a problem if you emailed her for help. She doesn't just simply give a vague response, but rather Ms. Pan actually takes the time to make sure you understand how to do it.
