For AP Literature, we were all well prepared for the AP exam, as we practiced for it throughout the entire year. From start to finish, we wrote different types of essays and practiced multiple choice tests in the AP format. He had a sophisticated system to prepare us, which meant we also did other activities, like reviewing previous exams and focusing on only a thesis one day or only the structure on another day. If you are able, get this teacher for this class because you will be ready for your exam and able to think in a more complex way.

While the homework is completely optional and not graded, they are recommended, and they prepares you for the unit tests. Answer keys are always available for checking answers.

It's pretty important to do the homework, but also she doesn't grade the homework, she only checks if you have done it or not, so it's students' responsibility to compare their answers to the answer keys she provides afterwards, and she answers questions about homework in class.

just pay attention and stay off of your phone and take your notes when you’re supposed to. it’s not that hard but i’d also recommend doing your questions and vocab, it helps out a lot for tests and you get extra credit!

The tests/project are 65% of your grade but he gives 100% on almost every other assignment you turn in as long as you do it. He is a really chill teacher that jokes around with his students and makes both Econ and Sociology a fun and interesting class to listen to.
