Make sure you complete every assignment, and if you can't, talk to him about it. He is super understanding and super patient.

Get familiar with algebra 1 concepts if you are taking her geometry course. Memorize rules for radicals, (especially dividing and multiplying them), the quadratic formula, solving for a variable, at some point you need to memorize standard form, point slope form, etc.

He's cool as a teacher, but turning in late work does cost you a lot, especially on the low-points assignments. The tests are always about 50 questions, unless you're in CP Econ. He doesn't give actual tests to his CP classes, just "assessment" projects.

Stop thinking if you are ever going to use what you learn in class. Go in with a positive attitude. If you are going to college after high school, you will for sure do way better if you put in the effort to learn calculus now. If you do well on the AP tests, you can even skip a few math courses and take more electives or something. Even if you are not going to college after high school, it is still worth learning calculus. Learning about calculus is more than just calculus. It is about learning how to think at an abstract level, learning and practicing how to solve problems, learning how to use logic to arrive at complex conclusions, and learning about previous mathematicians' life works. Previous mathematicians poured their life and soul into building the foundations of math that we take for granted today. They would have done anything to know what you are about to learn. That's a pretty lengthy paragraph just to convince you to be motivated about calculus. If you want to actually do well in class, DO THE HOMEWORK. If you have questions, ask about it in class or after schooland Mr. Reinstein will almost always help you.

For AP Chem, the best advice I can give is to not procrastinate and get the work done as soon as you can, and do more than the work assigned to study. The best way to ace the class is to fully undersand the content to the best of your ability, and that also will require you to understand you will mess up tests, and that will be fine. It will be very hard, but possible to get an A in his class.
