Be prepared to self study. Topics are covered very briefly in class and you are thrown in the deep end for many assignments and labs.

Homework is assigned in chunks; pace yourself and get it done early, as soon as he goes over how he wants the problems done (sometimes he'll want a certain format you should follow). Don't leave it for the last day because you won't learn anything. As in all things physics, strive to understand, not just to memorize. Look at the objectives before every test, don't be afraid to stick around after school to get help. Be ready for retakes.

The teacher is there for hours after school if you ever need help. Overall, the class is very fun.
