Class of 2020

I had Mr. Sprek for both Health as a freshman and EMC as a senior, and I had a great experience in both classes. If you pay attention to what he teaches, you will be just fine. He always makes class enjoyable and is very transparent in his teaching. Specifically for EMC, there is a lot of memorization, quick thinking, and hands on required as the class mimics the sequence of an EMT on the scene. If you slack off, you will fall behind. It is rigorous, but worth it. I would 100% recommend this class even if you are not looking to be a 1st responder/doctor/nurse. You will learn lots of life skills that could save someones life!

Mr. Sprek is one of the most respected and highly spoken teachers among students at OCSA. His classroom has always been a safe and encouraging environment for students to try their best and be themselves. He is personable, funny, and has tons of great stories from his days of being a 1st responder. TAKE HIS CLASS you won't regret it!
