Class of 2020
I had Ms. Combs for US History as a junior and Gov/Econ as a senior. I came from AP World History (10th grade) into this class and the workload/pressure was farthest from overwhelming. Her teaching style of US History and Gov/Econ is very similar. Her instruction is very easy and she tries to explain everything in ways we would understand. The hardest part of her class is probably the exams, but if you study well and/or payed well attention in class, you won't have a problem. While the workload is light, she is VERY adamant about academic integrity (as a teacher should be). DONT CHEAT -its not that hard!

Ms. Combs is an amazing teacher and I feel so lucky to have had her for two years. She builds really great connections with students and is always willing to help whether you're struggling academically or with other issues. Her classroom creates such a safe environment and she really prioritizes the well being of her students. While she might be intimidating at first, don't be fooled! She is one of the most personable teachers at OCSA.
