When we first look at a map, study it at home, we may never look at it in class after the first time before a test

Just do the work assigned to you and you will do fine. If he tells you to read something do it.

The class overall: taking notes out of the textbook isn’t talked about, but please do so in your free time! It’s the only way to pass his world geo class. It’ll be really hard, but memorizing key points and notes from the textbook will save you.

He was okay at first but I definitely think the main reason I dislike him was 1. because of the other disruptive classmates, but 2. because he didn't explain things well and sometimes didn't do what he said he would do. The most important part you should look out for is to memorize lots and lots of things and do the assignments. Mr. Chilcott sometimes didn't go over the assignments in class, so you should make sure to ask him after class or to email him (though you might not get a response). But most importantly, ask your classmates about what they heard and compare to what you heard.

His class can be hard for some and easy for others.
