Take proper notes from the textbook. He will tell you what to take notes on. During quizzes, you can use your notebook. He is more than happy to clarify questions and reword them for you.

For Health, take good notes, the tests are completely open note INCLUDING THE FINAL. Keep ontop of the notes and do them when you have time in class. Catching up on notes SUCKS. For P. E, just give some effort, he isn't too too strict on dressing but make sure you talk to him about it if you forgot y our clothes or something. You need to have at least some participation. If it is open gym you can do basically anything that is physical and he is okay with it

He's very chill about homework assignments. If you don't get it done on time, he'll be okay with it, and you can turn it in the next class for full credit. He is one of the best teachers ever!

Sussman as a person and teacher is really chill. In health make sure to join in on the discussions and questions he asks. He's pretty mellow and if you need something he's pretty accommodating just let him know. FYI, he's not the most tech-savvy dude so talk to him in person and don't expect much from schoology.
