Religiously take notes. These will come in EXTREMELY handy the day before a test. If you're in Honors, it's not as bad, but in AP, there's so many formulas and concepts that you need a place to put it all neatly and concisely. I learned from experience, by underperforming on the first few tests.

Be honest. The teacher does not punish you for cheating as much as others might, but her view of you as a student matters a lot. You'll get plenty of extra time (up to 20 minutes) after a period to complete a test. Pay attention. She does not have the innate capability to grab your attention, but if you listen well, her lectures are well thought-out and useful. Her demonstrations keep the class entertained from time to time. The only nitpick I have is that she's very uptight about formatting answers, which may be right because so are the AP graders. She really loves the subject with all her heart, and with some good note-taking and prep, you'll do great.
