Drill in the CQC formula for writing an essay, and you should get As and Bs on your writing assessments. It is also important to take notes during his lectures, because he elaborates key aspects of the books in his speeches. The primary way kids fail his class is by simply restating plot and story details in their essays.

Mr. Daniel is a very experienced, knowledgeable, and passionate teacher, but is not easily accessible during flex and lunch because he is such a popular teacher. Homework generally consists of a chapter or two of reading, and finishing any work started in class. His strongest characteristic is that he responds to the weaknesses and strengths of his students. For example, if everybody uses too much passive voice, he'll alter the curriculum for a period just to focus on that weakness. Overall, a great teacher!
