Just try your hardest in the class and you're guaranteed to get a good grade. Apperson likes mistakes as long as you learn from them.
TAKE NOTES. Take notes on paper, she has some open note assignments. Check Canvas regularly, she isn't too harsh on late assignments but still turn them in on time anyways. Be prepared to present.
Focus on what Ms. Belvini is saying because she explains topics very well. But her class was the most enjoyable!

Make sure you memorize the Spanish vocabulary because that will help you for your exams.
Overall, your grade in this class is for completion, not necessarily quality of work. For Art of Video specifically, every Friday, the class analyzes the video announcements created by one group of 5 or 6 students. Everyone in the class is required to take notes in the format of TAG (Tell a compliment, ask a question, give a suggestion) and this is the ONLY writing we do! As long as you stay engaged during class and take notes during his slide presentations, the film projects should be enjoyable and not rushed (he gives us many weeks to complete one film project, of course everything is different while we're online). Lastly, there are no tests or quizzes, so the film projects and video announcements make up the majority of your grade!
