It's important to pay close attention to the review packets, for they are very similar to the style of questions on the test. Organization is key in her class too, for homework/classwork is checked daily at her desk and at the beginning of the period. Lab essays are the most harshly graded in chemistry, so prioritize that over everything else. It is crucial that you elaborate your point, add lots of evidence, and reference non-class sources, (like articles, chemists, etc. ).

Ms. Ecklund appeals to the more organized students, in fact, organization and time management may be the difference between an A and a B in her class. She is a very accessible teacher, responds to emails very quickly, and usually leaves time at the end of class to ask for help. Chromebooks and phones are rarely used, so if you are more of a typer instead of a writer, you'll have to adjust to her working ethic. She is a funny and open-minded teacher, but has no tolerance for any misbehavior, phones, or tardiness. If you do your work, engage in class discussion, and ask questions, you'll succeed in her class.
