For finals, she always has a study guide that almost resembles the finals, only the numbers are different. All the homework assigned is optional, and you can use them on quizzes. Not all lessons from all units will be on the semester 1/2 finals. Every resource she shares in class is provided in Canvas. All her quizzes are half the size of actual tests, and for each unit one quiz and one test is given.
Since none of the material you cover during class will actually be on the test, and the only actual teaching he does during class is the warm-up, the entire course is basically how well can you self study. Not once has this teacher actually held a meaningful hour and a half long lecture, as his classes mostly consist of a 15 minute warm-up, maybe a 5 minute maximum very shallow explanation of a concept, then an hour and 10 minutes or so strictly to work on homework. Major tip of advice - If you love physics, do not take this class. Take AP Physics instead, you won't regret it.
ALWAYS make flash cards and take notes. When studying for finals review notes a few times and review flash cards once the flash cards are super helpful. He’s a very nice guy you just need to be nice to him. Beginning of semester one was hard b it i got the hang of it and semester two i ended with a 96. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or ask for help because he does answer them in real life but NEVERR replies to emails.
This isn't a regular A-G course, but simply a class that helps you prepare for speaking in front of large crowds. It challenges your ability to go out of your comfort zone, as well as learning life skills that are applicable in every aspect of your life. Highly recommended class.
The class overall is informative and easy if you're willing to put in the work, as with most classes. The class does not require much memorization, just take notes and do the homework.
