What advice would you give yourself if you were just starting the class now?

Memorize your scripts as quickly as possible and work in small groups. Memorizing your script will help you get more precise feedback in previews and it's generally a lot less frustrating if you work in small groups. For nearly the entire year, I worked with just one friend and it was a lot easier to get work done.

Don't make Marinee hate you because she's one of those teachers that does dislike some students. Here are some of the DO's and DONT's of her class. DO: 1. Be helpful 2. Use your class time wisely 3. Come in to help on some Saturdays (not required but it's fun and Marinee appreciates it) DONT: 1. Go on your phone for anything but things that pertain to the assignment 2. Videotape your peers without their permission 3. Laugh at people because that's rude 4. Just generally don't be rude because she will call you out on it
