Class of 2022
The class is honestly a great experience. You will only succeed academically if you keep up with the material and understand it, so don't skimp on the reading and use outside resources until you get it! There isn't much math required for this class.
Class of 2023
Mrs. Fowler's class is challenging (I'm referring to AP Biology) but you can get an A if you work hard. When she tells you that you will have 2 hours of home work a night trust her! Make sure you are prepared to do a lot of homework and studying. I'm a procrastinator but was able to do well in the course but I really would not suggest procrastinating. Make sure you always know the material and are ready for pop quizzes and in class questions. If you are ready to commit time and effort to this course and know that you are at least pretty good at school I would highly suggest taking this course. Especially because Mrs. Fowler teaches it.

Fowler posts the calendar for the entire year (homework, quizzes, tests) on her website: take advantage of that when planning your schedule!! BE SURE TO DO THE READING. EVEN IF YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE IT. YOU ARE DOING A DISSERVICE TO YOURSELF IF YOU DONT DO THE READING.

Class of 2022
AP Bio is such a rewarding and interesting course, but you will not do well in the class if you don't put in a lot of effort. Fowler is an expert at teaching, so listen to her and ask any and all questions you may have. She's very available if you want to drop by and ask her to repeat something, and you can tell she's very knowledgeable. She wants you to do well, so don't give up on the readings or homework assignments; they're there because she knows it's great at preparing you for the AP exam! There's a reason why only like max 4 SRHS kids fail the AP test every year; she knows her stuff.

Mrs. Fowler is an amazing teacher. Her teaching style is engaging and interesting. I would suggest that you engage with Mrs. Fowler. She is the most interesting teacher I have ever had so I'd suggest you get to know her. She also clearly cares about her students.
Class of 2021
Fowler is a great teacher and is very funny. Although her class seems extremely hard, you need to make sure to not procrastinate and plan your time wisely. She is available often if you need tutoring or extra help, so be sure to take advantage of that!!
