First and most importantly, if your cheat on test and things, give up and go do biology or take regular physics. Your GPA will be ruined if he catches you cheating and he WILL catch you cheating. Second, do the practice problems because they are the best for understanding the topics.

DO THE PRACTICE PROBLEMS!!! Usually 40-50% of quiz questions are from the practice problems but at the end of semesters ALL the problems on Part 1 of the tests are from the practice problems. Also try to do the practice problems in class so you don't forget later. If you can't figure out how to do a practice problem just look it up and learn how to do it, or go to office hours (m, w, f). If you have time read the lessons before class so you can figure out what you need help with faster and you can just ask in class. First semester will be hard because the level of the class is way above the classes in middle school but if you stay on top of your work and make sure you understand everything you will do fine on quizzes and tests. There are also labs once in a while in class (worth as much as tests ~ 100 pts), make sure you finish collecting all your data IN CLASS and you can just do the questions after you finish. Sometimes there are online labs (worth as much as quizzes, 20-30 pts) CHECK YOUR ANSWERS because this is one of the things that will bring up your grades. Second semester has harder content but it's easier because you're more used to the class. There's a final at the end of each semester worth 150-175 pts, start studying at least a week before because you need to cover everything in the semester (or the whole year if its in 2nd semester). Make sure you know what you're studying each day because it's SUPER easy to procrastinate. Other than that, the class seems super hard when you're in it but when you look back it's not that bad. Just stay on top of everything, do the practice problems, and ask questions. Have fun :)

Whoever is reading this likely is struggling in his class, I was too at the beginning! I REALLY recommend going to office hours. I went whenever he was available and ended up appreciating physics by the end of the class. Just do the practice problems a lot and try to think of level 4s.

Just don't focus on the grade and focus on learning the material. You'll do much better that way. The class is extremely worthwhile to take because you actually learn stuff.

Do whatever it takes to get into another class. Absolutely the worst class I have ever taken.
