Do all of the homework and make sure to ask questions if you don't understand any of the questions.
Class of 2025
Have a lot of grit for this class, even though you need to do a placement test or whatever (u can just beg your counselor tbh), if you get McCall, go to his period 6 class or whatever class u have free. If you don't you're done for. Do the homework, practice it, it's similar to the test. Ask him for questions and he will likely get to you on remind.
Class of 2024
Being engaged with lectures and doing the homework pretty much guarantees a 5 on the AP Test, and the majority of students end with an A or B in the class. Every single lecture both annotated and unannotated is available online through YouTube and the provided Google Drive. This is a difficult class as far as in-class content goes, and you'll find that you are overprepared if anything, but this is a good thing. Exams are the only grades, but the grading is very fair and generous.

If he tells you in class to memorize something, memorize it! You don't know when you'll need to apply it. Also, homework is always optional but it does look very similar to the test so it would be in your best interest to study it well and ask questions as soon as possible.
Class of 2021
Always do the homework and quiz packets that are given to you during class - although homework is never due and quiz packets are rarely collected (and when they are, they are only checked for completion), these resources will help you a ton on the tests. The majority of your grade are tests, so be sure to always study extra hard for them!!

He lets you honestly do whatever you want in his class. The tests/class are harder than the AP test itself but that's good because Batch makes you super prepared and if you study enough and do the hw, you'll be fine. It's not as scary as what ppl make it out to be. However, if you dont get him or u slack off, good luck.
Class of 2022
This is definitely a challenging class. Only take it if you are sure you will put in effort, because every lesson builds off of the last one and you can't afford to fall behind. If you do, ask for help from Batch! He's very patient if you are genuinely trying and will answer all your questions.
Class of 2021
Batchelor is an overall great teacher. It's extremely easy to get in contact with him when you need help, and his classroom is almost always open before school and during lunch in case you need help. He is super chill and doesn't care about using your phone and eating in class, and he always makes class entertaining without getting too distracted (you'll have lots of fun in the class but you'll also learn everything you need for his tests and for the AP test). In terms of tests, his tests are generally harder than the AP test, so he does a great job of preparing you for the test since when you actually take the test, it'll seem super easy.
