• Do your best to stay on top of your work • Whenever there is extra credit opportunities, use them because they can seriously save your grade • Be overly thorough but also as concise as you can in your analysis of things • Don’t slack off on learning literary devices, as this class will be a lot easier if you understand what they are and how to use them
