Review your notes after class. many times, you are assigned engaging notes, where you fill in blanks with answers given in a slideshow (which is posted in google classroom for later reference) and then you write things around the notes such as your thoughts, opinions, questions, comments, doodles, etc. the notes taken in these notes are almost always tested afterward. review your notes!! it helps a lot :)

Class of 2023

Mr. Cortes was without a doubt my favorite teacher of all time. not only was he a great teacher, who made learning fun, but he became a part of my family. he was like a second father to me; someone i could look up to. someone who's class i looked forward to walking into each day. i made countless memories in his classroom. i have cried multiple times knowing that due to certain circumstances, i'm not going to see him again, even if i came back to the school to visit. my time in his classroom, may have been cut short, but i wouldn't trade the time i did get for the world. he's the kind of teacher that you rarely come across. when you get that kind of teacher, you don't take them for granted. you thank god for the opportunity to spend time in their classroom. and that's what i did.
