Mrs. Barnett is so helpful and will try her best to help you do well. The practice tests are almost exactly like the real tests, make sure to do them as well as make up extra points for homework which she lets you do

use ur opportunities to retake the quizzes and FRQ portion of tests, if your falling behind, don't be afraid to go into ACCESS. many people go there consistently every week, even just to be in an environment where other people are doing something physics-related. make sure to read the note and pay attention during class

Homework is graded on accuracy! Make sure you know this and do not BS your way through. Participate and ask a lot of questions to get on his good side so he will give you less hard of a time, but make sure your questions are not related to his instructions because he will make you feel stupid for asking, even if his instructions are unclear. Pay attention a lot and try not to skip class because material that was went over in class will not be posted online. Take advantage of office hours if you miss class. You cannot get a good grade by just having the formulas (you get a notecard for them, no need to memorize), a lot of his tests are conceptual and you will need an actual understanding on things work. Also homework is due before the bell rings, get to class early.

Make friends with Madame! She is one of the kindest and best teachers you will ever meet. Did I mention that she actually teaches! I learned more in her class than any other French class. For her class, just make sure you pay attention in class and participate in the activities. If you do these two things, you will learn quickly, clearly, and effortlessly. Ignore all of the hate towards Mr. Boone because of his tough grading system and instead make an opinion for yourself. If you work hard, listen in class, and show initiative, then you'll do just fine. Also, the homework notes usually take a while because there's just so much content, so make sure to take advantage of in-class work time.

Mr. Cheng took Calculus and Honors Algebra 2. I had Honors Algebra 2 with him. The class was really easy. Everyone got A's on all of their tests and quizzes. The tests and quizzes are really easy as they are simillar to the problems discussed in class. He is THE best teacher in this school as far as I know. He never gets mad at the class so as long as you do what he says (his rules are really simple and a lot of freedom is given to the students) you will enjoy his class. Memorize every damn word in the Campbell textbook chapter. At the end of each subsection, make sure you understand the content by doing the 2 - 3 exercises. Do the review questions at the end of the chapter. Do the Mastering Bio practices. Do the 50 question practice tests. You have lots of resources at your disposal. Use them.

Make sure you take advantage of brunch/lunch times and actually talk to him. Mr. Dennis is an amazing, inspirational teacher who is very good at explaining difficult concepts, so make sure you ask lots of questions when you need help. Always document everything in your notebook, and use good handwriting!

DeVor rarely throughly goes through material, when I had his class he would just post short videos with example problems on google classroom and let us do it ourselves. I would recommend reviewing the material yourself using things such as khan academy, also be sure to memorize formulas since he will often not let you use calculators for his tests.

His class is pretty easy honestly, I had him for Honors Alg 2. Super fun and you can always ask him questions if you are confused about anything. ALWAYS look through his notes when studying for tests and make sure you DO NOT procrastinate on homework for packets (he collects 2 random assignments every five assignments).

Mr Hanson is wonderful! He's really passionate about computer science, and thanks to his class, I'm inspired to take on the field myself. He's a brilliant teacher as he explains new concepts patiently and thoroughly. Make sure to do well on tests as they basically make or break your grade. (Do practice FRQs from past AP exams) There's almost no homework and most of the in-class assignments are projects graded on completion. She is VERY nice, never be afraid to ask her questions. You will want to review at least twice a week to every school day depending on how good your memory, for me I barely needed to review because the signs were so easy. Prioritize learning to read finger spelling for the final exams. Expressive tests are terrible for people with social anxiety, I once got a bad grade for shaking, be confident, you got this. She sometimes throws in tricky signs with double meanings to throw you off. If a word has multiple signs, she will tell you which one she uses. Overall, study your packets, review, you’ll do fine.

Luck is a very bad teacher. She doesn't even know the vocabulary and grammar that she is teaching to US. She uses paid resources that do not have the same curriculum as PUSD (Realidades) so the things that are taught in class are not the same as the ones that are tested for. She also doesn't remember anyone's name because she doesn't care about teaching. If you have her make sure to study extra hard and not just memorize the vocab because you'll be sure to forget. Or just transfer out.

Always read the assigned chapters and do the reading guides. They may be tedious, but they will help you a lot during the tests/quizzes! The answers for the reading guides can be found online but I would STRONGLY advise against directly copying the answers unless you are ABSOLUTELY stuck on a question. Homework is for your own benefit and if you don't read the chapters thoroughly you will fall behind in class. Also, use the textbook links to access practice quizzes because sometimes the quiz questions will be directly copied from there and it's free points :)

Ms Sklar is unique in her way of teaching English. There's barely any homework (compared to other teachers) and her lessons are spontaneous and intriguing. The class covers 3-4 books throughout the year and tests are tedious multiple choice exams. Make sure to work hard on essays and research projects as they account for much of your grade and there's only a few essays that you'll write all year. Mrs. White is so sweet. Among other students, she is known as the "easy" bio teacher, but don't take advantage of her niceness. It is easy to get 100% in homework since it is usually graded for completion. Quizzes are open notes so they can help your test grade. I recommended studying from the Big Ideas slides she posts on Google classroom because test questions are similar from those. On the final, you get a full sheet of paper of notes, so make sure to put a bunch of info on there.
