I don't know how grading works for her other classes, but I had her for American Classics Honors. Make sure to participate in normal class discussions. It makes class more interesting, and she grades on participation. She also offers revisions on all writing assignments, so as long as you participate and show that you're a hard worker, you will be set.

Ms. Holdener is kind and genuinely cares about her students. She was my favorite English teacher at Gunn.
