Please review normal chem materials before taking the class. We go over most of the normal chem in AP chem, but if you don't know the material then you will absolutely dump the first test. The one thing that I don't like about the class is that we don't get tests back, and it's because that they are being reused. I mean overall I wouldn't say the class is easy because it is ap chem. But just review for 30 min every night then you will be fine for first semester. For second semester, the difficulty literally spike up like a roller coaster. Do a ton of practice problems with acid/base and kinetics on your own. The HW is def not enough to prepare you well for the second semester tests. Also if you do get a bad grade on the second semester test don't panic. There is a final project by the end of second semester that will be graded leniently as long as you put in the effort. Good luck!

If you need ANY help at all, she is always willing to help either before school, during conference or after school so please go see her. That’s the thing I regret most is not utilizing her availability. Also, make sure to read the book for AP Chem thoroughly because the slides, while they are a good summary to review from, the book has a lot more niche information that you need.

Absolutely my favorite teacher! Very organized with everything and so good at explaining concepts too. And, she is a fair grader which you don't often see in Sage given the grade inflation. (One of people in my class asked her for partial credit on a test question but she refused, The person's parents were also pressuring her and I think either the person or the parents threatened to report. I don't remember the details since I heard it from my friend. Then she literally did not care. Literally slay moment for ms Robinson). Anyways, overall, she is the best teacher that you could possibly get with AP Chem. She prepares you so well for the AP test. If you have good test scores in her class, dude you will be chillin thru the AP test.
