Please review normal chem materials before taking the class. We go over most of the normal chem in AP chem, but if you don't know the material then you will absolutely dump the first test. The one thing that I don't like about the class is that we don't get tests back, and it's because that they are being reused. I mean overall I wouldn't say the class is easy because it is ap chem. But just review for 30 min every night then you will be fine for first semester. For second semester, the difficulty literally spike up like a roller coaster. Do a ton of practice problems with acid/base and kinetics on your own. The HW is def not enough to prepare you well for the second semester tests. Also if you do get a bad grade on the second semester test don't panic. There is a final project by the end of second semester that will be graded leniently as long as you put in the effort. As long as you stay on top of things, you will do well. she always drops the lowest hw and quiz score, she is available for help after and before school, lunchtime, X block, and conference (her room gets busy during conference tho). STAY ON HER GOOD SIDE. as long as she can see you are making an effort to do well, she will do anything to help you succeed, so make sure TRY. Don't ever have your phone out in class cause she will get mad at you and take it. Sometimes she can be in a bad mood when you walk into class and you can tell , so on those days especially make sure you are the perfect student cause she can get mad all of a sudden.
just pay attention/dont talk in class, and know the songs by concert week and you will get an A+. He is very helpfull to help with anything you ever need
