Class of 2022

AP Lit. Very nice class and teacher, although there are a decent amount of in-class essays because it is an AP class which can hurt for a A, but 99% of students taking AP lit are seniors so they’re mostly fine with a B. Almost no use of electronics since AP exams are in paper and he’s getting students ready for it. There are some other assignments that will hopefully make up for a low essay grade such as book notes and poem annotations, and he gives out some form of extra credit assignment each semester. Half of time tables are in groups of ≈4 or 5 and other half in rows, so hopefully you’ve got friends to sit with.

Class of 2026

When I entered the room for the first day of senior year I could feel the bright halo shine on the magnificent Spangler as I rest self-ssured that I will have a good grade in the class. It was almost as the angels were chanting "Getting a 5 on AP LIt Exam" with the bright golden light illuminating the door. Clearly, Spangler is an exquisite teacher who knows how to teach well and keep the class engaged. In a world polluted with ChatGPT and websites that don't work half of the time I can rest self assured knowing that Spangler's opulent ways of teaching won't change. Devices are never used, nevertheless he teaches through interacting with students and passionately expressing his passion for the art that is English literature. Moreover, the cacophony of work that Mr. Spangler provides us is quite ethereal due to the ineffable help that he's done for scholar's taking the AP exam. Ultimately as, I write down this review with my inked feather quilt on one hand and my bottle of hot chocolate on the other I can clearly submit my advocation for the dear Spangler, I wouldn't recommend a better English teacher for upcoming seniors. - Niko
