READ THE TEXTBOOK and LISTEN to what he says. Not doing any of the reading or paying attention and simply making educated guesses may get you a good grade first quarter, but it'll bite you in the butt second quarter when it's all DBQ tests. Also, note that the exam is not the focal point of the class so you'll probably want to buy a prep book and reach out for extra help if you're aiming for a 5.

Mr. Stewart is a great teacher. Be sure to ask him questions -- you'll get interesting answers that actually make you think.
