Homework is only worth 7% of the class, so even if you do all your homework for 3 months and have a perfect grade in that category, one bad test/quiz grade will wreck your final grade since tests and quizzes are worth 70% of your grade. I honestly think it's ridiculous how the grading weight is distributed. Also, maybe it's just a distance-learning thing, but the teacher rarely has time to discuss your grade and often postpones helping out with any problems you might have until the very last minute. Tldr; homework isn't gonna help your grade much and you have to pay attention because the teacher most likely won't have time to help you.

This class was honestly one of my least favorite throughout my entire high school career, but I might just be biased because I dislike math. The teacher is humorous enough during tutorial and tells a lot of anecdotes, but I wouldn't count on her for clarifying questions unless the entire class is stuck. So, unless the class as a whole asks her to clarify, you won't be getting much individual help.
