The first semester is pretty easy, just pay attention in class, and you'll most likely be fine. Most of the time, the only homework is duolingo. It's pretty easy and not that time-consuming, just don't let it pile up. But later on in the school year she also assigns quizlets (e. x. do flashcards in this quizlet), which can be time-consuming but it's pretty helpful, especially if you're struggling. Don't be afraid to ask questions, and try to practice at home or with your friends. I found that second semester was harder, but I'm not sure if that was just me. I think the hardest part was that she sometimes thinks the class is better at certain topics than they are. So she moves on when you still haven't mastered/feel comfortable about a topic, and you have to study more on your own. Also, try to review old topics so you don't forget them and have to relearn everything for the final. This will also help you in the long term. Try practicing speaking with your friends or family early on, so when you have to do the speaking final, you don't feel completely unprepared. Also, again, make sure to pay attention in class because sometimes there's a pop quiz after slides on a new topic, and there are some questions on the speaking final about the slides she showed for the food unit. However, she doesn't grade too harshly, so if you feel like you did bad on something, don't feel too bad and stress about it.
