Just pay attention and you'll most of the time get almost all the classwork done. Finish reading the chapters on the assigned books on or before the deadline and finish the questions that go with it if applicable. Actively participate with your assigned partners or groups. Start on essays as soon as possible and ask for help if needed. The assigned reading books I got in my year were: The Outsiders, Chasing Lincoln's Killer, and Whirligig

Class of 2024
Mrs. Sheaffer is a very funny teacher that sometimes include memes and jokes in homework or classwork. She doesn't get annoyed when she gets asked a silly question. My classmates and I almost laugh all the time during class. I would highly recommend getting this teacher. I heard from other students that other English teachers are much harder and boring.
