Make sure to pay attention in class. He teaches notes about once a week or so, and he extensively covers said notes in activities. Just by paying attention and actively raising your hand to answer questions, you should be able to memorize most of the curriculum.

Mr. Perez is an amazing teacher, he actually teaches really well and the Spanish homework he assigns takes literally 5 minutes I sometimes do it in passing period. He's really nice and very interactive with everyone. He also does fun activities like kahoots where you can win candy and stuff. Though sometimes like he posts the homework late on google classroom but that's the really only bad thing. He has tests and quizzes which are very straight-forward just like a regular spanish test and not confusing, just study well and you're fine.

If you're new to Spanish and this is your first year, he is an excellent teacher. 10/10. My favorite teacher actually. The other Spanish teacher is good, but I like him the most. He is a great teacher and he spends the whole time teaching and helping students understand the different concepts. Spanish was really easy for me, but for some students which it wasn't for, he was really patient and gave them extra help. The quizzes are the same for all Spanish teachers because its from the course so I'll just briefly explain the quiz. On one side, there is are multiple choice questions and those are usually the vocabulary. On the other side there are more grammar, labeling, really stuff I can't explain because it's a language course. He really helped me with starting a new language and I would just really recommend him because he's so kind and patient and he really tries his best. His warm-ups and how he does projects and pair you up with people is really cool too. If you take Spanish, you have to do a LOT of skits and presentation projects which sound really dumb, but they help you with vocabulary and speaking and interacting in Spanish. Some people are really frustrated with him because of the projects, but that's the Spanish course, not him. He grades pretty leniently on the projects and you can easily get 100. He doesn't give extra credit like the other Spanish teacher, but he rounds up, so one quarter I made a mistake on one test but still finished with 100, because I got 100 on everything else and it rounded up. He's really kind and his class is pretty fun, so he's a really great teacher and its an amazing class. Good Luck! ^^
