He makes the class hard, but he's a very cool guy and is more than open to learn from his students actually. He really wants his students to have good morals, that's all he cares about. If you guys don't cheat, he will literally make the class harder. Luckily, our year was one of the better ones, and so he gave extra credit to every single student, some years are not that lucky... The only reason why this class is hard is because freshman take it, it's actually an easier course than other courses at mission

Sugden is a great teacher. He teaches you what you need, and helps you along the way if you need it. You can ask him any question, and he will make you think to answer it.

Mr. Sudgen's class was one of my favorites. I had him for double accelerated. The geometry unit was pretty annoying (proving obvious things), but was also pretty easy. I would get 100% in almost all of his geometry quiz/tests. The Algebra 2 unit was pretty fun, but confusing and a bit challenging as well. He is a really kind person in nature and will help you if you need it. He is really fun and he lets you use your phone quite a bit in class. I didn't find the course as hard as people were saying it was.

You can just chill in Sugden, literally just talk to him and you'll realize he's a cool guy. If you're struggling on a problem he'll help. If he asks to show your work to the class or do a proof take the opportunity! One of the best ways you can hone your math skills is teaching others.
