Stay on pace with your homework (don't leave it to the last day before it's due) and you won't need to stress at all about this class. Form study groups with your friends as this class is a lot easier when you study with other people. There also a few group projects such as making posters.

Get your homework assignments done on time; even if it's not due the next day I would not recommend cramming homework assignments once they're due. I also don't recommend cramming for quizzes. Still, Ware will try to help you be successful in her class. Her extra credit assignments can be really helpful if your grade needs some extra points.
