Although taking notes isn't required, you should take notes during her lectures. Also, pay attention during class because although she does post material on google classroom, the teacher mentions helpful concepts and ways of remembering during class that is beneficial to you.

Most of the content on the tests can be learned from the lectures, the worksheets are sometimes helpful for understanding the content. However, you might have to do extensive research beyond the subject sometimes just to understand a process since the full explanation isn't provided sometimes. Be sure to take notes on her lectures, because sometimes she will say information that isn't found anywhere but will be on her tests.
