just because you had an A in Chiu does not mean that you'll succeed I had a 97 and am failing this class, because it requires a lot of thinking outside of the box, which I lack when it comes to math

Do the study guides. The study guides will guide you in learning how to problem-solve with the information taught in class. Knowing the formulas and theorems definitely won't be enough, you need to know how to apply them on the tests and quizzes–you will need to know how to apply multiple theorems/formulas on one question.
