History was interesting because of her. Pay attention, ask for help. She's one of the best there is, and will help you if you ask for it. Gives great feedback on essays.

Just pay attention in each class and make sure you understand what you learn then (Ms. Faitel is almost always available to help, and is very kind and caring), don't put it off because you won't be able to grind before the AP exam. Use mnemonic devices and take good notes and you'll be fine. AP Psych itself is very interesting and I enjoyed learning it a lot.

Kind of a grind, but you'll do well on the AP test if you actually try

I have had her for AP Psychology, and therefore, this is not about her World History (Honors) class. This is a class that you will enjoy, and I highly recommend that you take her. She is one of the few teachers at Irvington that is truly passionate about the subject she is teaching and even rarer, a genuine human being who truly cares about the wellbeing of her students. In order to receive an A in her class, pay very careful and articulate attention to her lectures. The lectures cover about 85 to 90% of the content of the test, and that is not an exaggeration or hyperbole. However, you still should read the textbooks and take articulate notes as it allows you to elaborate more freely on a given topic on the test. If you do everything that she tells you to do properly, accurately, and with a decent amount of effort, you should always be between an A- to A range.

Use mnemonic devices to help yourself memorize key terms. You can find them on Youtube but Mrs. Faitel will provide you with some too. The day before tests, Mrs. Faitel conducts a test review session where you do a practice test and she goes over questions. Make sure to especially pay attention to the information she says during these days because they will be, more often than not, on the test the next day.

Ms. Faitel is one of the most passionate, sweet, and energetic teachers I've ever had and she made the class much more enjoyable. Don't hesitate to ask her for help with anything, she's almost always available and will go over anything as much us you want.

If you take her class, she will truly enlighten you. She probably will be one of the most, if not the most, memorable teachers I had during Irvington.
