Howard is a tuff teacher and usually is just as geeked as the students but don't expect the work to be graded within 2 months cus he's Lowkey lazy. Just pay attention and practice for the timed writes and you'll be fine.

I had Mr. Howard for English 10H, for the second semester, he assigns an Independent Reading Project, which is a ton of work, but he gives us a lot of time, so don't procrastinate. Howard is a hard grader and has high expectations. Also try to do your best on the IRP, since he doesn't grade anything until around the last week of school so you don't really know what your final grade looks like.

I had Mr. Howard for English 10H, and honestly, he's a really good teacher. He was kinda scary at the start but I got used to him and he's pretty funny. There are tons of timed writes.
