(For English 9 Honors. ) If you're expecting this class to be like JHS English Honors, you'll quickly find out how incredibly wrong you are. It's a somewhat fun class, but you did sign up for a challenge. The challenge mostly comes from rigorous grading; workload is actually not that bad. Make sure you follow directions for assignments and proofread your work. Start major assignments in advance. Last-minuting your essays is bound to result in careless errors.

Seems like a rigorous class, but is a great wake up call for lazy freshmen and the essay template is really easy once you get the hang with it and applies to future classes including AP even outside of english. You will realize how much you improve with your writing, and you will look upon this year with fondness.
