For APUSH: actually read the content! Highly recommend AMSCO, because the way they write can sometimes be used to answer questions in your essays. Also be familiar with how to write different types of AP FRQ responses: LEQs, SAQs, and DBQs.
Class of 2027
You got to learn how to write, buddy. You got to be able to understand how certain historical events lead to others. No history teacher, especially one that teaches on the AP level, can change that necessity. It is the nature of history.

He's absolutely goated. He makes lectures super interesting and connects historical events with current events. I miss this class so much

Russo does trail off and get of topic sometimes when lecturing; it's a trend that I have noticed more and more over months spent in his class. In other words, he could lecture in a way that is more focused on whatever historical event or time period he is lecturing about. This could waste valuable time and prolong the lecture more so than it needs to be. On the plus side, we tend to learn in more interactive ways than just taking notes on a lecture from a Google Slide presentation, so this problem doesn't occur to often and is fine for the most part.
