I had him for my English 2 and English 3H class, His non honors class was pretty easy, but that was because he had just come from a trip and didn't have a year plan. We read books and did assignments about them. HIs honors class was very work intensive for the average student, about every two to three weeks we had a multi page paper to write. We would often discuss them in class and student participation is inevitable, you will present in front of the class multiple times throughout the year; if you are reading a book you will often have to write a page or two every couple of days. I would take his honors class if writing comes easy too you, he is also the English 4AP teacher.

Class of 2021
As a teacher he is like that cool calm uncle, he has his hobby's that he likes to talk about and will gladly talk about it if he gets off topic. You might get put on the spot for the class but he helps you along if you are confused. Extra Credit is rare so do the simple assignments. Also he lets you choose seats so try and find friends before the first day.
