I had him for my English 2 and English 3H class, His non honors class was pretty easy, but that was because he had just come from a trip and didn't have a year plan. We read books and did assignments about them. HIs honors class was very work intensive for the average student, about every two to three weeks we had a multi page paper to write. We would often discuss them in class and student participation is inevitable, you will present in front of the class multiple times throughout the year; if you are reading a book you will often have to write a page or two every couple of days. I would take his honors class if writing comes easy too you, he is also the English 4AP teacher.

if you're going for an A, make no mistakes on assignments because she strictly grades out of 5 with no decimals. forget an accent mark on a single word? B- for you

I had him for Geography in 9th grade ( half semester ) he is amazing. He gets off topic very often but has a very great personality/ attitude. Class is a breeze so you might get board. He assigned seats when I had him '17-18

I had him for AP Computer Science Principals and Robotics he is an amazing teacher and very supportive. He is funny and always open for ideas. He treats you as an adult, so he will respect you but he expects you to act the same. For CompSi Principals the first month or two is somewhat a waist of time with random activities. But once we get into the coding we use Code. org, it is student pace but you need to complete activities to keep up. For Robotics me and a friend worked on the Robotics and made a small film, Mr. Jackson was there to support everything.

Aa a freshman I was pretty intimidated by his class, mostly because it was the first time he was teaching freshman as the curriculum changed. It was interesting, busy work and homework if you don't finish. He is strict on people being late and late work is a rarity. Unless you know him from other activities id say you might not become "friends" as you will like you can with other teachers. As long as you do the work it should be an easy A. Also you work with partners a lot so fine a friend in the class you can rely on.
