If you pay attention, answer questions, and are an overall good and intelligent student who shows passion for the subject, you will pass the class without a sweat. Warning! There are around 7-8 ORBs (outside reading books) you need to read in the year. Make sure you do the A. R. tests and projects on time. There are usually weekly vocabulary quizzes that are good to keep grades up. The class also doesn't have any extra credit, so get good grades and work hard. BIG PRO: Besides nightly reading, there is little to no homework in this class. Mr. Hare was such a cool person, me and all my friends wish we had him longer. I was the year of the frog (2021) #yogawithkassandra #kissthefrog. Mr Hare is so kind and accepting. He said he would give us a letter of recommendation and he was always around to talk to us and had so much respect for students. He graded us on how hard we try and how much we care.

Big tips: -Always, ALWAYS make a Quizlet or flashcard -Trust me, you did better than you thought on that test -DO THE EXTRA CREDIT!! -Don't pick a hard or difficult subject for the space project & be creative for the theme of the poster board -On almost all projects, making it look nice and having a theme or just being creative in general will guarantee at least 1 extra credit point

Mrs. Sobieraj's Math 8 Class is not only a class where every student will learn and memorize anything they need to do, but a class providing more extra help, extra credit, and clarification of standards than any other class I have ever attended. The teacher works constantly, even after the last period ends. Every morning we have a slide document ready with the weeks work, and a song playing that the class gets to pick. This class makes every student feel confident in their math skills and unstressed with our teachers timelines and spacing between assignments. The teacher is not only one of the best I have ever had, but recently my math grades have been going up because of the guidance provided in this class. :)
