I had her for Ethical Issues in Everyday Life, she is very sweet and understanding, easy grader. She is always there to help; you can even send her your journals and essays beforehand for feedback (which I highly recommend) before formally submitting them. I suggest listening in class and taking notes, helps a lot when writing the assignments. For the final presentation make sure you well formulate the ethical questions and not just is it okay to... She never really gave examples of ethical questions but still expected us to know how to do it.

Had her for knowledge in Fall 21. Pay attention to her lectures and be sure to understand what she's saying instead of writing down what she says, her evaluations are based on your understanding of the topic. We had bi-weekly 300 words journal to write (on what she covered in class); if you show her that you understand the topic you will get a good grade (she's not a strict grader at all). She helps her students and guides them, it's a fairly easy class. The teacher is so sweet and kind, would definitly recommend her :)

Focus on understanding what she is saying rather than frantically noting everything she says. Her exams are based on figuring out if you understood what she taught rather than remembering (I hope this makes sense). She is a very easy grader and she admits it herself so don't stress too much about it. I had her for my 3rd Humanities class which was: Ethical Issues in Everyday Life.

World views, youth culture class: The class is divided with 2 projects and 2 finals and participation. Since the class is a world views class on youth culture, for the first presentation (Project #1) is to see if you understand the fundamentals of a worlds view (She provides definitions, use them in the presentation and you basically get 100). Once you know those definitions of a world view, you can easily do amazing in the class. Her mid term and finals are the same, based on the readings. You don't really need to read the readings in depth, but understand what they talk about. She does want you to do an analytical essay for both mid term and final (final having a larger word count), and its important to go talk to her and ask exactly what is good or bad, because its sometimes confusing to get mixed up between an opinion and analytical essay. Her final term project is a video to which is also based on the definitions.

I had her for Ethics. You should take notes in class. She doesn't mind technology. Journals: there were about 5 journals to do every other week. These are open book, in-class, informal essays. You basically have to express your opinion on a situation illustrated in a video shown in class. In your analysis you must use the ethical concepts you learned in class and define them as well. Follow her instructions. Book: We had the book "Everything about Love" to read; but it was really optional. She only ended up using it as an option for the last journal. Oral presentation: We had to prepare a group oral presentation. We had to find a scientific peer reviewed article and ask an ethical question and answer it using a concept we learned in class. Overall: I did not really enjoy this class. It was hard to understand what exactly she wanted me to do. She would take off marks for something I took straight out of the notes saying it is not correct. She is an extremely tough grader but she won't admit it. Regardless, she would happily answer your questions and go over your journal with you if you want to. But it didn't really do anything for me to be honest. In general i would not recommend if there is a better option.

She is the nicest teacher you will ever have. I have never seen teacher that was that much invested in the well being of her students. She is extremely understanding and easy going. She teaches very well and gives very interesting classes with good examples and explanations. Please take her if you can I loved having her as my teacher!

She is a wonderful teacher. I would take her for all my humanities classes if I could. She is very nice and wants you to succeed. She helped me a lot during her office hours which helped me average an 88 by the end of the semester (class average 74). Anyone can succeed and get a super high R score if they actually really tried. People didn't really care in my class, which consequently gave me an advantage. I'd definitely pick her if your deciding to pick this class. You can go to her and ask her for feedback and she will gladly help you if your determined to do well. She gives create pointers on the direction to take for the projects and generally in class. Also if you like how our world works, this class expresses (world views: youth culture) the domino effect from the 50's to the contemporary times today. Very interesting and glad I took this course!
