If you can, take his classes (I took Fitness/Martial Arts)! He's an incredibly nice, understanding and approachable teacher; he's very passionate about the subject, is very knowledgeable, and has a sense of humor. The environment is very welcoming, positive and engaging, he always makes sure the students stay motivated and his main goal is for everyone to have fun. **Now to the actual advice:** - Prepare to be silly and to hear a lot of playful comments/jokes, he likes to make his classes fun and engaging, so he sometimes makes students (for example) yell for a few punches to get you in the mood, or at the end of a workout say "Good job everyone! Except you, you were tErRibLe, nah just kidding you did amazing", stuff like that yk. He occasionally does dad joes but I personally loved those. - As simple as it sounds, make a friend or two in the class. Every class you will have to find a partner, and most of the exercises/activities or evaluations will require social interaction and teamwork. Try to find someone/ a group of people you vibe with, I promise you the class will be more fun that way. - Do the short assignments he gives weekly (takes 10-20 minutes after reviewing the material), they are truly good recaps to his tests/exams! Not only are they good for studying (without actually needing to study, you can just review it before the exam and you'll still ace the exam), they're practically free points for your grade (I got 100s for all). - He always gives a refresher (that's the theory part of the class) at near the end of the class (or before a test), make sure to listen! Everything is relevant and WILL be in the exam, 90% of the time he straight up let's you know what questions will be in the exams/ what exact pieces of information you need for the test.

Just do the work with a little effort and you'll do great!
