The first part of the 101 course is very abstract, I struggled quite a bit. The second part was a breeze because the topic was basically economics. Take notes!!! He doesn't post his slides so you rlly have to listen and pay attention, rlly understand what he's talking about. You should ask questions. He has review classes before his tests where he explains a bit what the questions are like.

This class is really interesting but very abstract, so it helps to focus on understanding the ideas instead of just memorizing things. The workload is pretty light (with almost no work outside of the two tests and the essay). About 30% of the final grade comes from in-class activities that are open-book, and you can even ask the teacher questions, so they’re basically free marks as long as you show up and participate. DO NOT SKIP CLASS...

This is a very abstract class, something I didn't know, so it was difficult for me to keep up. I enjoyed Scott's teaching a lot, he's very animated and passionate about his class (easy to pay attention), cares about his students, super kind and funny! But I just couldn't process this class. It was contradicting, very back and forth. He gives out quizzes every class, you're allowed to help each other, use your notes, it was a good way to bring up your grade. If you get this kind of material, you'll be fine! I just couldn't do it, I still passed though.

The teacher is extremely active and energetic, so its act hard to get distracted

He was an amazing teacher, very vibrant and energetic. His course on knowledge is quite abstract and you need to keep up to understand and perform well, but he's really nice and understanding and will answer any question you have.
