Intro to World History: you must take handwritten notes about whatever he is lecturing. The class follows the slideshow but consists a lot of his own explanations which include drawn out diagrams and anecdotes. At the end of each class there was/is a journal you write which in my opinion helps you to better understand the material. The journal counts towards your final grade. Tests follow similar structure of a question about one of the topics, to which you must respond in a paragraph. Some assessments were open book (another reason to keep good notes), and teacher had outlines/tips to be successful posted. I found that you did have to find some information from other sources while studying and spend a good amount of time revising material prior to tests/quizzes.

Easy grader, easy teacher. There's going to be two tests during the semester. Just make sure to paraphrase the class notes and you're set for the semester. The final essay is very easy as well, very short paragraphs. I would recommend him for western civ.
