I was in his Introduction to World History class and honestly, it was an enjoyable experience. There are a lot of in class assignments that are worth 1-5% throughout the semester, so do not miss class too much. Additionally, he posts all the assignment dates online. The assignments often require a lot of writing and detailed answers, but all the class material and readings were available to use as a reference. Try not to show up late because you will miss assignment instructions and class material. You can use your laptop/ipad to take notes and reference the class material posted on Omnivox; however, the use of any cellular device is highly discouraged (unless he asks you to look something up or to reference class materials). The final exam is a little hard but if you study the in class assignments and the feedback given to you in class, it should go smoothly. The final exam consists of questions that were in the assignments and require detailed, long answers, but if you understand the material, you should be fine. He does not ask specific dates, but you should have an understanding of the period of time. Even if you skip a couple of classes and arrive late, completing the in class assignments should help you raise your average. All in all, the class is very easygoing and relaxed, the assignments are done in teams, and the teacher is very understanding with extensions for the LIA ( essay ).

Take him!!! Go to class and do the assignments, ask for help if you don't understand, practice practice practice the sample tests he gives and you'll end up with at least 90% (most likely higher).

buddy up with somebody who you can exchange notes with and make sure you do the homework, but other than that, it's a super chill and easy class

My glorious Miles Denora where do I even start. You gotta be one of the BEST teachers at Vanier. Ur corny jokes and slide remark made an absolute pleasure to attend your class. I passed your class when I honestly didn’t really deserve it. I can’t urge every future student to pick this wonderful man named Miles. You’re my goat. Stay the same.
