Attend every class — the teacher believes its important for participation and consistency. Follow the assignment instructions very carefully. She is extremely strict about formatting, templates, and specific requirements, so paying close attention to details is essential. Start assignments early because the expectations can be complex and require multiple steps. Stay organized and check Teams regularly, even if some of the posted information can be difficult to follow.

Intro to sociology: try not to miss class, take notes (she didn't post hers), try to make friends with your classmates, and stay on top of your work. Teacher gives good advice but you have to follow it. Don't do the quizzes last minute, because she is a stricter teacher. The concepts. though very interesting, are usually very complex and require a certain skillset to truly understand (not to worry, the course teaches you that).

Writing notes for every text you read is the best thing you can do. The teacher does not tell you this for no reason. If you gradually accumulate your information throughout the semester the final paper and exam will be a breeze. Interesting class overall.

Teacher was a strict but for our own goods! She taught the material very well, gave very good advice on how to be successful, and was always available for help on Teams. Learnt a lot from her class.
