if you’re taking his 20th century poetry class, expect to have quizzes every week with pretty difficult questions that are worth about 3% each. You will have to read long texts in preparation for every class which is time consuming. The final exam consists of memorizing almost all poems seen in class because you will be asked to develop on a random one which you will not know in advance.

Annotate your texts, it helps a lot with surprise assignments in class If in lit and comp, do your grammar exercises he gives quizzes every (other) class. Start your outlines before the due date and talk to him for help. Otherwise, I could do my essays the day of and had 80s. Make your essays simple dont "sauce" them up

Very wholesome teacher. I had him for Canadian Short Stories and it was super fun. Easy quizzes for easy points if you read the story. He is very passionate about a lot of subjects. Would love to take him again
