For Volleyball 102: Amazing teacher, really nice and chill. There's not much to memorize in her class besides some Volleyball rules in the beginning of the semester. Her classes are pretty much Volleyball focused at 100% - besides some occasional workouts. She gave 3 assignments for the whole semester, and if you do what she asks for, you'll do really well in them. It was a very fun class, I do definitly recommend the teacher!

For Team Fitness Sports: So far, I would say that she is one of the best PE teachers at Vanier. There aren't really any bad things to say about how she teaches. Her class schedules are straightforward (Theory - games although she switched to games - theory towards the end of the semester). About theory: 101 PE classes consist of much more theory than 102/3. Due to that, every class has about a 15-20 minutes period of theory where the teacher talks about the chapter. Theories include body composition, nutrition, stress management, etc. About evaluation: She is a very fair teacher. Every week (most of the weeks) you're assigned a reading assignment where you need to read your Theory Book (provided as a PDF in Omnivox) and write in the answers in a Word document that you'll submit online. About exams: There's none lol About writing: There's none lol About games: For my class, it was a variety of team sports, which I quite enjoyed. Note: Don't think about skipping classes just because you want to, your grade is also based on presence. And no, she is not a "Karen", she's actually really freaking nice.

I had her for yoga and it was the best gym class that I had out of all 3. It was a relaxing class, and the teacher made it interesting.

I just finished college, and Karen is by far one of my favourite teachers. She is very kind and patient with all of her students and I always looked forward to going to her class. I would definitely recommend her
